Who We Are

Kip Grosenick

A passion for storytelling finds Kip Grosenick as an award winning, independent television producer with more than 20 years experience. From individual segments to multiple episodes, Kip loves to create compelling viewing. His favorite thing to do is take an idea from conception through researching, setting-up, coordinating, field producing, scripting and overseeing an edit - wrestling the best concepts onto the screen and taking viewers along for the emotional ride of a lifetime. He uses his deep love of words and pictures as a vehicle to capture and convey the best, and the worst, of what motivates people.

Graduating from Indiana University in 1985, and landing an entry-level job in Atlanta, GA as a video journalist with CNN, he worked his way up the ranks to Senior Producer in the Political Unit.  In his 17 years at CNN, he found many great stories to tell covering politicians like Bush, Cheney, Clinton, Gore, Perot, Gingrich, Quayle, and even David Duke.

Eventually though he found himself yearning to make a positive contribution in other ways. Striking out on his own in 2003, Kip founded Robin Hood Video Productions.  Now he finds stories to tell in all walks of life from athletes to artists, racecar drivers to model railroaders, martial artists, soldiers, hurricane survivors, farmers, criminals, woodcarvers, and nature lovers.  The most fascinating part of every story to Kip is exposing the passion. To Kip, passion is the fuel that gets things done.

His almost boundless enthusiasm, powered by a persistent curiosity has taken Kip around the world in search of powerful tales.  Organizations from Habitat for Humanity to “Good Morning America” have asked him to tell stories for them.  He would love to tell yours.
